DeepMap Announces Partnership with SAIC Motor Innovation Center
Today at CES in Las Vegas, DeepMap announced a partnership with SAIC Motor Innovation Center. The multi-year collaboration is focused on high-definition (HD) mapping and localization, a critical component of autonomous vehicle (AV) software.
SAIC Motor Innovation Center obtained its California DMV permit for testing self-driving vehicles in June 2017. It is now running DeepMap software in test cars at GoMentum Station, a facility in Concord, Calif., as well as on public roads in San Jose, Calif.

DeepMap is providing SAIC Motor Innovation Center with robust, scalable mapping services. This partnership is designed to complement the SAIC team’s progress in developing safe, production-ready self-driving technology in-house.”
